What Is the Mental State Called Peace of Mind? In general, the term ‘a peaceful mind’ is used to describe a mental state in which mental and emotional calmness prevail. It is a state where your mind is not stirred up by anxieties and worries. The mental activity is phased down so that quietness and calmness can be experienced. The practice is therapeutic and mind-occupying that you will eventually forget about the stress and renew your peace of mind. 3. Meditation. Meditation is the act of training the mind to reach a level of consciousness that the mind can attain. In many cultures, meditation is used to clear the mind and achieve a sense of peace.

This peaceable fruit of righteousness is not the natural product of affliction: grapes do not spring from thorns, nor figs from thistles; neither can it be so properly ascribed to the afflicted person, as to the powerful virtue, and special grace of the Holy Spirit, who sanctifies afflictions, and makes them profitable for effecting God’s. fruit of righteousness--righteousness (in practice, springing from faith) is the fruit which chastening, the tree yields (Philippians ). "Peaceable" (compare Isaiah ): in contrast to the ordeal of conflict by which it has been won. "Fruit of righteousness to be enjoyed in peace after the conflict" [THOLUCK].

The apostle Paul said that peace is part of “the fruitage of the spirit.” (Galatians , 23) Since God’s spirit produces peace, we need to allow holy spirit to guide us if we want can we do this? First, we need to read God’s Word regularly.(Psalm , 3) As we think deeply about what we read, holy spirit helps us to understand what Jehovah thinks about various subjects. Joshua Loth Liebman () was an American rabbi and best-selling author, best known for the book Peace of Mind, which spent more than a year at #1 on the New York Times Best Seller list. Born in Hamilton, Ohio, Liebman graduated from the University of Cincinnati when he was 19 years old/5(13).
